The Olympus IPLEX FX videoscope has won the iF Product Design Award - Industrial category in Germany.

Approximately 2770 entries from 35 nations were received.  The award is open to manufacturers & designers of products which have been on the market less than 3 years or scheduled to go into production during this year.

All aspects of the products were considered, including the design quality, materials used, environmental compatability, functionality, ergonomics, safety, Brand value/branding, and universal design. The IPLEX FX exceeded expectation by the panel of specialist judges.

The awards ceremony will be taking place on 4 March 2008 at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds on the first day of the CeBIT show.
